To maintain full joint movement and pain free locomotion it is essential that the integrity of joint cartilage is maintained producing a smooth and undamaged surface.
​When joint structures become stressed or damaged, the resulting inflammatory process produces pain, swelling and reduced joint movement. This inflammation triggers an increase in the production of synovial fluid (joint oil) to improve joint lubrication but this fluid is inevitably of lower viscosity and poor quality and contains numerous inflammatory mediators.
​Joint+ ASU 4S comprises a blend of high qualtity nutrients including Glucosamine Sulphate, Hyaluronic Acid and ASU which support the maintenance of joint cartilage.

Hyaluronic Acid is the body's natural anti-inflammatory agent supporting the healthy joint environment. ASU, unsaponifiable natural plant extract of Avocado and Soya, can be very useful in the modification of certain processes.
​This nutritional product may also be given to young and maturing horses undergoing intensive exercise with evidence of joint inflammation and to provide support in cases of damaged joints showing "wear and tear."
